Montfort Rugby were over-run by a well-oiled Junyuan Rugby team in the Plate Semi-Final at Evergreen Sec on Monday 5th April.
The Montfort Ruggers lost 22-0 to a Junyuan team who were hungrier and meaner.
With that loss, Montfort will be playing Jurong Sec at Saints Village on Thursday 8th April for the Plate 3rd/4th play-off.

B Div 2010 Match Report 6: Montfort vs Unity
Montfort Rugby secured their place in the Plate Semi-Finals after demolishing Unity Sec 66-0 at CCAB on Friday March 26th.
The thumping win, which Montfort's second in the Plate 2nd Round Group Stage, meant that our ruggers will now meet Junyuan Sec in the Plate Semi-Finals on Monday April 5th at Evergreen Sec.

Montfort kicked off the 2nd round of the National Schools U17 (Plate) competition with a thumping win over Bedok South at Evergreen Secondary on Tuesday 23rd March.
Montfort recorded an emphathic 66-8 win over the boys from Bedok South.
The win put Montfort on top of Group J and with their sights set on the Plate Semi-Final.

B Div 2010 Match Report 4: Montfort vs RI
Montfort Rugby gave Raffles Institution its sternest test in the B Div 2010 season when it held the mighty green-and-black boys from Bishan 12-12 at half-time.
But the superior fitness and match sharpness of the Raffles boys allowed them to beat Montfort 31-19 at the final whistle. The match was played at RI's home ground in Bishan in front of a boisterous crowd of parents and old boys.
Despite the loss, Montfort Rugby is able to hold its head up high as it proved that we can mix it with the big boys.

B Div 2010 Match Report 3: Montfort vs Regent
Montfort Rugby beat Regent Sec 87-7 when they ran in 15 tries against a Regent team that had been the whipping boys of the group.
The match, played on Friday 5th March at Regent's home ground, was notable for the fact that Regent scored their first points in this year B Div competition.
The thirteen different Montfort try scorers were: Ariel (2), Nabil (2), Rexford, Eugene, Jonathan Lim, Lyon Ee, Dominic Daniel, Ahmad Danial, Mohd Shamir, Harish Pandey, Leon Lim, Alvin Yap and Matthew Ho.
With this win, Montfort has secured third placing our first round grouping - behind Raffles and ACSBR - and will proceed to the second round Plate competition.
Overall it was a good win, but what niggled the team was the soft try conceded to Regent. Old Boy Coach Low Feng Hua said it was a try that should not have been scored if our defence had been more alert.

Montfort Rugby got its season back on track with a convincing 31-0 win over Jurong at CCAB on Tuesday 23rd Feb.
The try scorers were Mohd Nabil (3), Justin Seow and Calvin Lim.
Three of tries were converted by Nabil.
Our next match is away to Regent Sec. A win against the newcomers to B Div rugby will ensure a passage to the Plate 2nd Round Group Stage.

B Div 2010 Match Report 1: Montfort vs ACSBR
Montfort Rugby kicked off their 2010 B Div Rugby season against ACS (Barker Road) on 19th Feb at ACJC.
The B Div team, which was hampered by a series of unforeseen setbacks, played above themselves in the match.
With Coach Feng Hua inspiring the boys, the Montfort Ruggers started the match with a series of blockbuster forward moves that nearly yielded a try in the first five mins.
But ACSBR came back and scored a lucky try after a miss tackle by a Montfort player in our 22.
That was the only try of the first half with ACSBR leading 5-0 at half-time.
In the second-half Montfort Rugby continued to pile on the pressure but conceded a soft try which was duly converted. That was when our boys started to let their heads drop and conceded two more tries to give ACSBR a 24-0 win which flattered the boys from Barker.
The Montfort Rugby loss was due to missing four crucial tackles which resulted in four tries.
Good defence wins games and the boys are looking forward to making amends against Jurong Sec on Tuesday 23rd Feb at CCAB.
