  • Team information is displayed on the rugby notice board. Team information is also available upon request via sms (contact Mr Jasbir Singh @ 94505434). Team organisation and information is also read out over assembly.
  • All students who are playing age grade rugby (under-13, under-14, under 15, under-16 or under-17) must produce a passport, NRIC, EZ-Link Card or Birth Certificate to verify their age.
  • If your son has any other questions he should see either one of the teachers-in-charge.
  • Students must attend all meetings. Meeting times and venues will be organised by the coach and broadcast over assembly.

Team Practices

  • All players must attend all trainings and all team meetings.
  • If a player can not attend training, he must personally see any of the teachers-in-charge/coach to excuse himself from practice.
  • If a player is absent from school he should ring his teachers-in-charge at school to inform him he will not be at practice.
  • Players are encouraged to wear mouth guards at all practices (if a player wears headgear it is recommended that he wear it at all trainings).
  • Appropriate practice gear should be worn at all trainings.

Playing Uniform

  • All playing uniforms are available from the Rugby Teachers-In-Charge
The uniform for age-grade rugby at Montfort Secondary is as listed below. The School will NOT accept any variations on this uniform:

Costs

  • Other than purchasing the rugby uniform, playing gear or peripherals there is NO charge to play rugby at Montfort.
  • Some years we have a traditional fixture against teams based overseas and there will be a cost involved in playing this fixture/s.
  • Overseas Tours are usually paid either by Edusave or Cash or a combination of both.
